Another passion of mine over the last several years has been to express my creativity. One of the most important character-building experiences possible is to create something. The flow of creativity, I feel, will help me in all aspects of my life; personal, professional, social, etc. The Content area of bjhess.com will be a central point to view some of this creativity. Additionally, I will seek to archive for public record any other critical or analytical thinking I may have cause to write down. Think responses to movies or music, which could be very personal or simply critiques depending on the situation. Essays and short stories are other possibilities for this section.

Humor

Starting with class clown status in my elementary school, humor has left an indellible mark on me. The next step in my slow-moving ha-ha creative process was the co-authoring of a humor column in my high school paper. Admittedly the writing was off-beat, "out there," and amateur, but the process was fun and enlightening personally. After many years us co-authors have reteamed to discuss several projects.
